'Death Before Dishonour' (originally released in 2001) whilst having one of the best pictures i've seen on any album isn't one of their better efforts. The production on the original CD was never that good and you can only re-master something so much. A lot of the album leans towards the hardcore end of the scale and doesn't show the band in their best light. Even so there are still some good tracks of the 19 (7 bonus tracks) on the album. 'Police Informer', 'Driving Me Insane' and the title track 'Death Before Dishonour' are the best of the bunch of what is a distinctly average album. I think the band at this stage were losing their way and had changed so far from what they originally were that they might as well have been a completely different band.

I have always thought 'The Massacre' (originally released in 1991) was the best album The Exploited have released so far. This is punk at it's best, aggressive and hard as nails. The production is excellent and of the 12 tracks on the album I can honestly say there isn't a bad one. There are also 4 bonus tracks which were recorded from a gig live in Japan in 1991. The track listing is 'The Massacre', 'Sick Bastard', 'Porno Slut', 'Now I'm Dead', 'Boys In Blue', 'Dog Soldier', 'Don't Pay The Poll Tax', 'Fuck Religion', 'About To Die', 'Blown Out Of The Sky', 'Police Shit','Stop The Slaughter' and the four bonus live tracks 'Scaling The Derry Walls', 'The Massacre', 'About To Die', and 'Death Before Dishonour'. A quality all out assault on your eardrums that the band will never better in my opinion.
