The 'Complete Punk Singles Collection' by The Exploited is just like it says on the tin. In the 28 tracks on the CD it's got everything covered right from their first single released in 1980 'Army Life/Fuck The Mods/Crashed Out' to later stuff off their 'Death Before Dishonour' album' released in 1987. Playing this CD right the way through in one go you can hear how the band have transformed their style over the years.
Some of the other tracks on the CD are 'Exploited Barmy Army', 'I Believe In Anarchy', 'Dogs Of War', 'Blown To Bits' (Live), 'Dead Cities', 'Hitler's In The Charts Again', 'S.P.G.' (Live), 'Cop Cars' (Live), 'Jesus Is Dead', 'Drug Squad', 'War Now' and 'United Chaos And Anarchy'. Now you can listen to all their singles on one CD without getting off your arse.

'Chronic Generation' was Chron Gen's debut album, originally released in 1982. This re-release, and not before time now has 12 bonus tracks and is yet another good value album from the 'Captain'. Chron Gen were compared to The Buzzcocks in the early days but never attained the heights The Buzzcocks rose to. Their music covers most of the punk rock spectrum ranging from your more poppy sounding punk through to Oi. There are some great tracks on this CD 'Lies', 'You Make You Spew', 'Mindless Few' and the best of the bunch the superb 'L.S.D.' Some of the bonus tracks are 'Puppets Of War', 'Subway Sadist', 'Outlaw', 'Behind Closed Doors', 'Disco Tech' and 'Clouded Eyes'. A very underated band and this CD would be a good addition to any punks collection.

What I can't understand about 'Kings & Queens' the new album by Anti-Nowhere League is that it is on sale with captain Oi at £8.99 but if you go to the bands website it is £12. Why the big difference in prices is beyond me but you would have to be an imbecile to buy it direct from the band.
Well the album itself in general is a bit too rocky for me, don't get me wrong there are some good tracks on the album but quite a few of the songs sound very similar. A lot of the album has a real Sex Pistols feel to it which ain't bad I suppose. I thought the best tracks were 'Mother's C!!!', 'Piggy (The Lesson Of Life', 'Mission To Mars' and 'Dead Heroes'. This for me is just an average album and although that is only my opinion, there wasn't much on the album that jumps out at you.
