Yet
another two more releases Destructors 666. The first
is 'Labor Omnia Vincit', an 8 track split CD
with Eastfield. Eastfield's music is always lively and
the first three tracks 'Money', 'Jumping
Under Someone Else's Train' and 'Shake It Up'
have the instantly recogniseable sound that the
band has honed over many years. Excellent. Unfortunately
the final track by them, a reworked cover of 'Glad
To Be Gay' lacks the speed and energy i've always
associated with Eastfield.
Destructors 666's four tracks (One secret track) are
as with previous releases a mixture of punk, metal and
rock. 'Duty Unto Death' and 'No Escape'
are both a blend of melodic punk and rock and both decent
songs but 'Warhol Wilson' I didn't like because
it is too slow, long and bland. Best track I thought
was the unnamed secret track which is more punky than
the rest.
